Yuki had spent the days before the morning she was to see him again, preparing herself, both mentally and physically for the upcoming mission. Also during this time she questioned herself, why had she done those things, what was her motivation? There were no answers and she was left wanting still.
Now she was sitting on the clean ground outside the place where they would both be briefed about the upcoming mission. All she really knew was that it was supposed to be pretty simple, a retrieval mission. Not sure just yet what it was they had to retrieve, from whom or where though. Besides, nothing was ever easy and simple.
While waiting for him she checked over her clothing, making sure it was all fitting properly. Her long black pants were fastened with a wide belt around her narrow waist, the legs falling to touch the ground, slightly ripped along the bottom. Her top would of course be fine, it was fastened at the crotch and glued to her skin all the way up to her neck where it was covering the whole of it and her back but had no sleeves.
Was she nervous? Of the mission no, of course not. Of seeing him again...yes. She wasn't sure why but the thought of him made her jumpy, she guessed it was because of her actions last time. She had been a little flaky to say the least. Shaking her head she focused her eyes on her small fingerless gloves like there was something wrong with them.

Anxious, was all Rikiya could feel. He had pondered and prepared for the mission and the time spent out of the village, with the heiress of Yuki no Kuni. Of course, he wasn't exactly 'excited'. Instead of wearing heavy materials like he usually did wore a long-sleeved shirt, with one of the several coats he had owned: this one white with blue stitching, tinted with a red design. And as instructed, he wore no mask. Because of this his hair remained loose in a red binding.
His headband remained neatly around his right wrist, hardly dented. Overall, the attire wasn't quite different from what he would wear on an ANBU mission--just that the material on his clothing was lighter, and that he carried the same weapons.
During the day yesterday, he had received the message on where to go to meet up with Yuki. He could have walked through the market but he didn't want to draw any attention to himself, which is why he took the back route, essentially taking him longer to arrive at the destination. Rikiya knew he wasn't late, instead, he was punctual--right on time when he approached the girl sitting, with her head hunched down.
"Good morning, Yuki-sama," he greeted, waiting for her eyes to look up to his own. Instead of looking straight at her face, however, he allowed his own gaze to trail off to the building--the grays in skies making his eyes look somewhat black, rather than crimson. Odd, now that he thought of it--he recalled the gestures Yuki had performed by kissing his mask. Thankfully he was a nonchalant person, otherwise he would have blushed at the thought.
